Bag Yourself a Bargain

Changing Bags aren’t necessarily an issue for many Mums in the early days. A few nappies and a couple of bottles fit into most bags with ease. However, at some point during your little one’s upbringing you will realise that your changing bag may need to expand. This changing bag is ideal for those Mums who use cloth nappies, Mums who take their children to nursery for the day and require lots of changes of clothes etc, Mums who carry food and are weaning when out and about and those Mums who generally require a little more than the average handbag space.

Hauck Blue and Brown Baby Changing Bag

As a Mum to an eleven month old little boy I am aware just how much needs carrying around on a day to day basis. Joshua, my son goes to Nursery three days and week and uses cloth nappies, thus needs a ‘roomy’ bag to carry all his essentials for the day.

In order to give you an idea of how much this bag fits into it I have composed a list of what I manage to fit into this bag with ease each day:

  • Four cloth nappies and inserts.
  • One changing bag.
  • One packet wipes.
  • 1 wrap.
  • 2 bottles.
  • 1 Milk Dispenser.
  • 1 Sippy cup full of water.
  • 1 Small bag of spare clothes (vest, tee-shirt, trousers, socks).
  • 1 box containing two pacifiers.
  • 1 tube Bonjela.
  • 1 Box Sudocrem.
  • 2 Sachets of Nurofen for Babies.
  • Purse.
  • Cheque Book.
  • Mobile Phone.
  • Drink (Usually small bottle of Coca Cola).
  • Lipstick.
  • Epipen.
  • 1 Bag of food (including one bowl, two spoons, a yoghurt and raison snacks).
  • 1 Toy, sometimes more if required (usually stuffed and quite large).
  • 1 Nursery Book.
  • 1 Pair sunglasses.
  • 1 Pair baby sunglasses.
  • 1 Bottle Sun Tan Lotion.
  • 1 Muslin Cloth.

The ‘Hauck Blue and Brown Changing bag’ has an adjustable strap which is ideal when carrying the bag on the handle of a pram as you can tighten it to hang without touching the floor. The Bag is made from padded material and is quite stretchy so fits plenty inside whilst also being flexible and small enough to fit underneath most prams. The Bag itself has:

  • One large front pocket (which zips up and is ideal for personal items).
  • Two open back pockets big enough to fit a pack of wipes into each pocket if not more.
  • 3 inner pockets which are waterproof and ideal for bottles.
  • 1 separate plastic zippy pocket ideal for putting messy clothes into or even spare clothes for if the need occurs.
  • 2 Side pockets (elasticated) which are perfect for putting pacifiers, mobile phones, tubes of creams or spare bottles into.
  • 1 Changing Mat (which is a little on the small side but folds to fit easily into the lining at the bottom of the bag). The changing mat is useful to use to cover Supermarkets changing mats when out and about to ensure that your little one is being changed on a sterile surface.

This bag is a bargain which not only looks good but fits plenty into it for realistic parents who carry what they need and don’t risk leaving the essentials at home.
